About the Dartmouth Club of Toronto

The Dartmouth Club of Toronto exists to extend the Dartmouth family to those of us in the GTA and around the Golden Horseshoe.

Interviewing all prospective students is a major Dartmouth priority, and members of the Dartmouth Club of Toronto are actively engaged in that process, ensuring that all applicants in the city have an opportunity to speak to a Dartmouth alum as part of their application process.

Cultural activities are enjoyable elements of the club. We have hosted the Dartmouth Decibelles on their international tour,

and have partaken of a private tour at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto.

Alumni host events including admitted student dinners, send-off events for students, and delightful events for alumni at their homes.

The Dartmouth Club of Toronto collaborates with the Ivy Plus group of college alumni associations in the GTA and participates in quarterly happy hour networking events.

The events typically include 100-200 attendees and are held in fun locations around Toronto.

The Ivy Plus alumni group stays connected to its colleges as well as the United States. The group was thrilled to be invited to the home of the US Consul General in Toronto to discuss outreach and communication between US college alumni groups, their constituencies, and the USA.

Service is another key pillar of our club. Volunteers participate in community service in the GTA.

Activities include one or two-volunteer events to large group projects.

Are you a Dartmouth, Tuck or Thayer alum? Update your contact information with Dartmouth to ensure that you receive our emails, and check back here for event announcements.

The Dartmouth Club of Toronto was reconstituted in the summer of 2015 and has run a handful of events each year. Our format is currently an unstructured committee of committed alumni.

If you’re interested in getting involved on a project, to assist with a specific event, or to join our executive team, please contact Tony Field ’97 or Baljir Baartartogtokh ’12 – we would love to hear from you.
