SUMMARY:Charity Fundraising and Networking Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The Dartmouth Club of Toronto will be holding a special fundraising and networking luncheon on Thursday\, March 30th in support of the Out of the Cold Program at St. Andrew’s Church\, and members of the Dartmouth community in the GTA are invited! \nJoin 14 other Dartmouth Community members for an enjoyable and stimulating lunch while chatting with one another. The event will be held at P. J. O’Brien’s just north of the Berczy Park Dog Fountain at noon. \nOur fundraising target is $4000 for this campaign. This sum will provide hundreds of meals to Out of the Cold patrons because the program is run by community volunteers. Thanks to a few generous but early donors\, we are pleased to announce that over 80% of the funds have been raised already. \nTo participate in the luncheon\, reserve your seat here. The Bay St Hockey Tournament is organized by Hockey Helps the Homeless (HHTH)\, a national organization targeting homeless youth. HHTH organizes hockey games across Canada where players raise funds to make a direct impact in their own community. Since its inception\, HHTH has granted over $16 million locally to partner agencies. The partner agencies provide a variety of services including emergency shelter\, transitional housing\, and mentorship programs for those currently experiencing homelessness\, while aiming to create long term solutions to end homelessness across the country.
